1. Period 65 : UNIT 8 : FILMS Lesson 5 : SKILLS 1/ Reading and Speaking I. OBJECTIVESS: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to gain the following things: 1. Knowledge: - Develop reading skill about one’s favourite film - Develop speaking skill: Talking about a film +Vocabulary: - Lexical items related to the topic “Films” ; Types of films.... + Adjectives describing films. + New words: series (n); wizard (n); must-see (n); gripping (a).... + Grammar: Use although / though to express contrasting ideas between two pieces of information in the same sentence; Use however to contrast ideas in two sentences; 2. Competence: Ss can practice reading and speaking skills. - Develop communication skills and creativity. - Be cooperative and supportive in pair work and teamwork. - Actively join in class activities. 3. Qualities: - The love of favourite film. - Develop awareness of types of films. - Develop self-study skills. II. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Grade 7 text book, laptop, projector / TV/ pictures and cards..... - Students : Text books; Computer connected to the Internet. - Sach mem.vn III.
